I have now officially been to Boston in the fall. I get the hype.
This was a trip of mostly pleasure, a little bit of business. But I got to sing all the same. So much love to speak of, I know it to be real. Fenway Park felt like a living museum. I ate at an oyster house that has held many memories of major American players in all parts of our history. Martha’s Vineyard felt like a place where it is Independence Day every day, in the best way. I tried foods I’ve never tried, went to my first hostel, and got to make friends while seeing some of my longest lasting friendships. I walked through the same spots where our country’s first historical moments took place. I could go on and on but I loved Boston and I can’t wait to return. Until then, I’ll make some cherries jubilee and put on “The Holdovers”.
